Sirens Tropical Suites luxury hotel in the Dominical Republic receives negative feedback from holidaymakers due to quality issues that have arisen during their stay.

From health and safety issues to hotel service, the hotel has been faced by a number of Tripadvisor reviews that have warned off further guests from visiting the hotel in the resort of Punta Cana.

What Are The Most Common Problems Often Faced?

Guests at Sirens Tropical Suites seem to have encountered filthy rooms with bare wires hanging from fuse boxes, insects and birds swarming food buffets and food not being replenished in the evening which meant guests dining later in the evening would receive cold buffet scraps. Pushy sales agents were also amongst the problems that guests faced. Holidaymakers found they were conned to attend VIP breakfasts which turned out to be long sales pitches to buy into time shares.

One reviewer stated how it was not the dream vacation that they had expected. Upon arrival on their first day, their room had no lights or power and when workers finally arrived to fix the problem they were extremely rude and were shouted at to leave the room. The couple needed to get changed for the evening buffet due to a smart dress code that is usually applied for dinner. However, the couple were unable to re-enter their room and following what seemed to be pointless complaints to the manager, the couple were left starving and were asked to return back to their rooms. Brief illnesses from food and drink were also experienced which seemed common amongst a number of guests at the hotel.

Another reviewer explained how rats were seen in the hotel near the buffet and expressed that this was a hotel where they ‘would never go again.’ One specific family visited the hotel for their wedding and commented ‘apart from our wedding day I wasn’t really impressed all through the holiday… and I wouldn’t come back’.

The 4 star Sirens Tropical Suites is featured by a number of tour operators including Thomas Cook who have also classed it as one of their luxury holiday destinations and one which specifically provides wedding and honeymoon services.
