Reports of Illness at First Choice Holiday Village Turkey, Sarigerme

It has come to the attention of Simpson Millar’s Holiday Illness Specialists that a number of reports have appeared online from holidaymakers that have recently stayed at the Holiday Village Turkey, in Sarigerme. These reports refer to an outbreak of gastroenteritis where some of the guests were hospitalised and advised that the illness was caused by faecal contamination.

Simpson Millar’s Holiday Law Specialists have recently been contacted and instructed by guests that have suffered from illnesses at other First Choice Holiday Villages, including the Red Sea Holiday Village in Egypt and the Holiday Village Costa Del Sol in Benalmadena, Spain.

Simpson Millar’s holiday lawyers have previously recovered compensation for a large number of guests that have suffered from illnesses further to staying at various different Holiday Villages and have represented guests that have returned from the Holiday Villages with all kinds of sickness bugs, including salmonella and cryptosporidium.

Andrew Tarling, the Holiday Compensation Claims Manager at Simpson Millar has stated;

“I am extremely concerned by these reports of illness at the Holiday Village in Sarigerme. I am further concerned by the suggestion that these illnesses were caused by fecal contamination.

Some of the illnesses that can develop as a result of faecal contamination can be extremely unpleasant to say the least and if contracted by the young, elderly or vulnerable, these illnesses can be particularly serious.

My advice to anyone that has suffered from illness after a stay abroad is to seek medical advice without delay so that the illness can be identified and properly treated.”

If you have stayed at the First Choice Holiday Village in Sarigerme or any other Holiday Village, and have suffered from symptoms of illness, contact us without delay to receive free advice and to see whether you can claim compensation on “no win no fee” terms.
